Evolution 415/615 – Undergraduate Course: Evolution is a rapidly growing and integrative field. In this course we discuss the history and basic tenants of evolutionary theory, evolutionary research and modern methods for studying evolution.

Bioinformatics and Data Science II – Graduate Course: Online data repositories and even individual data sets are growing at unprecedented rates. Therefore most Biologists need bioinformatic and data science skills. The course focuses programming in python and linux along with an introduction to data standards and version control, tools for data cleaning, data visualization and working with high performance clusters. At the end of this course students should feel comfortable approaching most data problems.
